Throughout Term Three, Access to Work has been making connections with a variety of businesses. These excursions have provided a wealth of knowledge about potential future options for our students after college. On the 24th of July we visited Uniting Tasmania Kitchen. We followed this up with a visit to the Building and Construction Expo on the 31st of July. The students really enjoyed the Excavator simulator. On the 7th of August we went to TasTAFE and saw all the potential learning opportunities that await us there. We also made it out to Foodbank and took part in making up food hampers for the community. We also had some return visits to Ten Lives, Dogs Home Tasmania and Hamlet Cafe.
