Rosny College Cert II Tourism class has been busy this term, full of opportunities both at college and out on location.

They visited the City of Hobart Winter Feast prior to the opening so the students could see the Back of House operations for a large-scale event/festival. The students also enjoyed a familiarisation trip to the Cascade Female Factory where the manager Shelly introduced them to the harsh stories of the women that lived there. They also visited the local tourism hotspots via the Red Decker Hop on Hop off bus, which was a new experience for the locals.

In week 9 and 10, the students visited the new Hilton Doubletree Hotel for a hands-on experience and the Tourism Conference in Launceston, which will included lots of stops to Northern Regions tourism attractions along the way.
