A Fantastic Start to the Year!

What an incredible term it’s been! We kicked things off with a welcome BBQ on day one, where we all enjoyed food, games and great entertainment on the terrace.

In Week 3, we held the annual Enrichment Expo with 200 students signing up for activities including life drawing, badminton, geology camp, groove orchestra, and even a scuba diving course and so much more. These enrichments give students the perfect opportunity to "Find their Tribe," explore new interests, and build lasting friendships.

Week 5 marked our celebration of International Women’s Day. Students painted patches dedicated to important women in their lives, which will be combined into a colourful quilt to show our appreciation and admiration for the women who inspire and care for us.

In Week 6, the common room was glowing in orange to celebrate our cultural diversity in Harmony Week. We decorated bunting with messages about what harmony means to us, Sesandi entertained us with a Sri Lankan pop song, and learned to write our names in Japanese script with the help of international students Sotte and Nao. Cathy led a creative session making cord from recycled fabric, while others enjoyed painting their nails and sampling delicious food from India, China, and Vietnam.
